    About Us

    Portal San Miguel is dedicated to serving the many thousands of tourists and residents of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Tourists will find a wealth of comprehensive information about hotels and restaurants, galleries,shopping, events and more, all aimed at helping them make the most of their stay in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

    Portal San Miguel is a mainstay for residents as well, giving them a host of local information about the week’s events, weather, movie schedules, local news and much more.

    Every month, we e-mail our free Portal Newsletter to thousands of subscribers keeping them constantly updated on local news and information.

    Portal San Miguell was created in 2001, and was the first website dedicated solely to San Miguel de Allende. Portal San Miguel is the web-based companion to Inside/Dentro San Miguel, the town’s first handy bilingual guide, which has been in publication for well over 17 years.

    Inside/Dentro San Miguel is the insider’s guide to restaurants, hotels, art, shopping, real estate, services and more. Free copies are available at most cafes, galleries, restaurants and hotels around San Miguel de Allende.

    Over the years, Portal San Miguel and Inside/Dentro have undergone many changes, and now under new leadership, our aim is to continue serving the needs of the hundreds of thousands of faithful visitors to our site and our town. You can count on us to continue to bring you the latest, most up-to-date information about San Miguel de Allende, in the most engaging and user friendly ways we can.
