    Galería Pergola – Instituto Allende

    Reception, November 8th, 6 pm
Paul and Cissy Marks have had a longtime love affair with Mexico starting in 1961 and continuing many trips throughout Mexico over the years. They have been coming to San Miguel for the past 13 years. The Paintings show the inspiration gained from the incredible beauty and atmosphere of the place.
Paul’s bold landscapes and cityscapes are informed by his career as an architect and his travels throughout the world.  Cissy’s background in fashion illustration and graphic art combine to give original interpretations to her figurative paintings of flowers and cactus that are just to the left of real. www.smith-marks.com
